Mr. Baxendale represents the second generation of family ownership and management at Missouri General Insurance, where he is a principal and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He began his insurance career in 1980 and is a graduate of the School of Business at St. Louis University.  In 1988, he attained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation from the American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters.Mr. Baxendale has been an active member of the St. Louis Association of Independent Insurance Agents, serving as its president in 2004-05.  He is currently a Regional Director of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents and the chairman of its Leadership Committee. Mr. Baxendale has provided commercial Risk Management services to clients in areas as varied as manufacturing, hospitality, real estate management and development, religious institutions, and construction. In addition, he assists his clients with covering their personal insurance exposures.Outside the insurance industry, Mr. Baxendale has been involved with the Alumni Association and Father’s Club at De Smet Jesuit High School. He has served on the Parish Council at Mary Queen of Peace Parish in his native Webster Groves, is a member of the Kirkwood Optimist Club and a Life Member of Optimist International. Jim is an avid fan of all sports-especially Cardinal baseball and college football.  In his spare time he enjoys floating the rivers and streams of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

Brad Greer joined Missouri General with the transfer of business from Eagle Insurance Services, a division of Eagle Bank and Trust.  Brad had served as president and chairman of the board of Eagle since 2006.  Starting with St. Paul Fire and Marine from college, Mr. Greer has spent the past 30 years in a number of technical and management positions within the insurance industry.Mr. Greer has a passion to see the most efficient use of resources, including the premium dollars of his clients.  Experienced in a number of alternative risk financing models, clients are assured of having the most current technologies and methods to transfer and manage their risks.An excellent communicator, Mr. Greer has successfully reduced the science of risk management and transfer into common vernacular and principles easily embraced by organizations of varied size and risk complexity.
Mr. Greer has served a number of civic organizations including President and Chairman of Lewis and Clark Habitat for Humanity, Vice Chairman of Collinsville Habitat for Humanity and Chairman of the 2nd District Madison County Central Committee.A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Greer and his wife of many years, Pamela Reno Greer, enjoy their family which includes two sons and three grandsons.

Mr. Koelz currently has 36 years experience in the insurance industry, including 4 in underwriting and the last 29 in insurance brokerage.  Prior to joining Missouri General Insurance, he spent 14 years with international brokers Reed Stenhouse and Sedgwick.  He has serviced accounts consisting of multi-location retail, heavy manufacturing, multi-state real estate development and management, hospitality management and development and large local architectural firm.  Mr. Koelz is currently Partner and Executive Vice President of Missouri General Insurance.

Lori Merriman Lori Merriman is a 1988 graduate of Lindbergh High School.  She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Management and Communications.  Lori began in the insurance industry in 1999 at Agents Insurance Service, Inc.; which was bought by Eagle Bank and Trust in 2003 and subsequently became Eagle Insurance Services.  Eagle Insurance Services merged with Missouri General Insurance Agency, Inc. January 1, 2008.  Lori began at Missouri General as a Project Coordinator and was subsequently promoted to Director of Operations.  Lori has been the President of the Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) Gateway Chapter for 3 years.  Lori resides in Festus, MO with her husband and 2 children.

Charley Alexander Mr. Alexander began selling Accident, Health, & Life Insurance in 1964 for The Travelers Insurance Companies.  He opened an all-lines office with an old college roommate, Bill Baleer in 1968.  Also formed Agents Insurance Service in 1975 with Mr. Baleer and another friend.  He then went to The Weiss Agency in 2006 for a brief time before coming to Missouri General in 2008.

Peter graduated from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Economics in 1988.  After completing an internship with the General Accident Insurance Company in Lisle, Illinois, Peter joined Missouri General in September of 1989, subsequently earning the designations of Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter and Certified Insurance Counselor.  Peter enjoys working one on one with his clients to develop creative solutions to their unique insurance needs.  While licensed in all lines of insurance, Peter specializes in Property, General Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance for business owners and Homeowners and Automobile Insurance for individuals.  In addition, Peter has worked extensively to protect the assets of seniors through Long-Term Care Insurance.

Ellis Bell Ellis is an Independent Insurance Broker, licensed in the State of Missouri since 1965.  From 1965 to 1969, he operated a private agency under the name of Ellis Bell Insurance Agency.  From 1969 to 1987, Ellis operated as an independent insurance broker with the majority of his business being placed at Lawton-Byrne-Brunner Insurance Agency.  Since 1987, Ellis as a wholly-owned, independent broker, received services of more than eighty major insurance carriers through contractual arrangements with Missouri General Insurance Agency, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri.  Through this placement facility, Bell’s & Associates, Inc. is capable and qualified to write bonds and insurance, for all lines, with major sureties and insurance companies.

Joyce Cotner Joyce Cotner joined Missouri General Insurance Agency in 1999.  Since the mid 80’s she has been involved in administration management at various insurance agencies.  In addition to having over 8 years experience as an account executive for two national insurance agencies, she worked for a major transportation company as an insurance risk and safety manger.  She also worked for 4 years as the risk manager for a large St. Louis based real estate property management and investment company.  Her portfolio largely consists of retail, real estate properties, especially apartments and churches.

Brian has served in the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry since 2002. He began his career as an Account Representative with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co in July of 2002.  His degree is in Business Administration from Truman State University with a concentration in Management Information Systems.Between 2007 and 2009, Brian served as a Senior Property & Casualty Consultant for CBIZ Insurance Services in Creve Coeur, MO.  He led the department which grew by 300% during his two year tenure with CBIZ.  In 2009, Brian moved to Missouri General Insurance Agency where he is currently an Account Executive.Not satisfied with simply providing quotes, Brian quickly began working on increasing his insurance knowledge through further education.  Brian earned an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 2004 through the Insurance Institute of America.  In 2007, Brian received a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation through The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.Brian brings a depth of experience in insurance plan design and development for all industries and size groups.  His specialty is analyzing policies and developing creative, cost-effective insurance packages and risk management techniques.  He is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance and Life and Health producer in the states of Missouri and Illinois and a licensed Surplus Lines Producer in the state of Missouri.

Ms. Foster is a graduate of Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA with a degree in psychology.  Her insurance career started in 1978 with Connecticut General Insurance Company as a life and health agent.  In 1979 she started her property and casualty career with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.  After moving from various brokerage houses, Ms. Foster joined Bell’s & Associates, Inc. – a Missouri General Insurance Agency affiliate.Ms. Foster understands that any broker can write a policy, however, the service you provide to a client is what creates customer loyalty and brings a sense of satisfaction to the job of insurance broker.Outside of insurance, Ms. Foster’s activities include being a member of the Better Business Bureau’s Trade Practices/Public Information Committee, a member of Christ Our Redeemer AME Church where she is an active Celebration Choir member and is a Class Leader, National Coalition of 100 Black Women St. Louis Chapter and is secretary of the Jamestown Estates Homeowner’s Association.  She is an avid gardener and enjoys cooking for her husband, two children and extended family.

Julie Jackson Julie’s family has been involved in the insurance business for over 40 years.  Julie’s father, Dave Johnson, founded D.S. Lindell Nickerson Jr. After graduating from Pacific High School in 1977 and then spending close to 20 years as a Longshoreman employed by Ralston Purina/Purina Mills, Lindell began his insurance career at The Warren Group Insurance Agency in Chesterfield in June of 1997.  He joined Missouri General Insurance in May of 2002.  Licensed in both Property and Casualty and Life and Health since 1997.  Married for over 25 years (Trudy), with one child, a son David who will graduate from Pacific High School this May.  Currently serving as President of the Pacific High School Sports Club, on the Board of Directors of the Agape House of Franklin County, President of the Woodland Hills Homeowner’s Association, and is a lifetime member of the United States Jaycees.  Hobbies include golf, golf, and in my spare time, Lindell likes to golf.

Randy Schrupp began his insurance career with Liberty Mutual, and later moved to Frank B Hall as a Retail Broker and Account Executive.  In these positions he earned various sales recognition awards such as Top Producer, Millionaire, and Goalmaker, working with Transportation, Construction, and Manufacturing accounts.
Randy formed a Risk Management and Safety Consulting practice called WC Solutions Group, to help employers improve safety and reduce their claims costs.  26 clients in various industries experienced average claim cost reductions of 44% under WCSG programs, and earned significant premium reductions in subsequent years.
Randy then spent several years as a field underwriter and marketing representative for several Workers Compensation carriers including EBI and MEM.  He then transitioned to Wholesale Brokerage, helping retail brokers move their larger clients into Self Insurance, Large Deductibles, and various Alternative Market and loss sensitive programs.
Randy returned to retail brokerage and sales when he joined Missouri General in January of 2010.  He helps employers better manage their risk, reduce losses, and effectively market the improved results, to earn the best coverage, terms, and pricing.

Jeannine Stuart Certified Insurance Counselor since 1982 attained by completing five exams and maintaining with annual seminars.  An insurance career which began with Aetna Life and Casualty Company in the Property and Marine Underwriting Departments.  Fourteen years with agency service and marketing as an employee, after which to become one of the very first female general insurance producers in Missouri.  Knowledge and experience to service all commercial or personal insurance, whether large or small.  A great interest in civic and political happenings with memberships in numerous organizations, such as Rotary, National Federation of Pachyderm Clubs, Beta Sigma Phi, with elected service in various leadership positions.  Activities and volunteering in politics has let to positions on the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents and The Partnership for Downtown St. Louis Government Affairs Committees.

Mr. Walsh began his insurance career working in a Cooperative Education program with Northwestern Mutual Life while an undergraduate at John Carroll University, in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon his graduation in 1979, he returned to his native St. Louis, MO, associate with the Missouri General Agency since its inception in 1981.Throughout his career, Mr. Walsh has served the insurance needs of a varied clientele, ranging from large contracting, trucking, and manufacturing firms, to the needs of smaller businesses as well. In addition, he has worked with individual families to address their personal insurance needs.In addition to his undergraduate work, Mr. Walsh has earned the Professional designations of Accredited Advisor in Insurance, as well as Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from the American Institute of Property and Liability Underwriters.Beyond the insurance industry, Mr. Walsh has served as President of the Parish Council of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, President of the Alumni Board of Directors of St. Louis University High School, as well as coaching, and supporting the various activities of his four children.
